The short version
The app collects nothing. No analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting, no accounts, no cookies — and the app never opens a network connection. Your text, settings, and license live on your machine and stay there.
What the app stores on your device
Your typed text, your preferences, and your license record (a signed license key and its activation pairing). The pairing contains your purchase email and a one-way fingerprint of your machine's hardware ID — a hash that cannot be reversed to identify the device and that never leaves your machine unless you send it to us to activate a license.
What we (the vendor) receive
Your purchase email — used solely to issue your license and activation, and to answer support mail. If you request an activation, we additionally hold the device fingerprint you sent, bound into your signed certificate. Support emails are kept only as long as they're useful for helping you; say the word and they're deleted. No analytics, no tracking, no marketing lists.
What Paddle receives
Purchases are processed by Paddle.com, our merchant of record. They handle your payment details, tax paperwork, and receipts under their own privacy policy. We never see your card details — only the email you purchased with.
This website
Static pages only: no analytics scripts, no tracking cookies, no third-party requests. Nothing about your visit is recorded by us.
Deletion
Want your purchase email and device fingerprint removed from our records? Email support@thehumantyper.com and it's gone — the only consequence is that we can't re-issue your activation later without you sending them again.
